Schedule for the 18th Kagyu Gunchö




The Eighteenth Kagyu Gunchö will be held from 20 November – 17 December, 2014 at Tergar Monastery near the sacred site of Bodhgaya. Participants from Kagyu Shedras will discuss and debate the topics of Advanced Collected Topics, Types of Mind, and Types of Evidence. His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa will continue his teachings from Mikyö Dorje’s Hundred Short Instructions, and the Gunchö will conclude with a four-day conference discussing Gampopa’s Jewel Ornament of Liberation. The original plans included Chakrasamvara empowerments, but those have been canceled. The detailed schedule is below.
